PRICING

THESE PRICES ARE JUST GUIDELINES WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING TO WORK WITHIN OUR CLIENTS BUDGETS. We do offer special rates and discounts to Independent Films. We also offer deals to repeat clients. 

Hourly Fee:

1. Hourly Rate: $40 per hour for regular or glamour make-up/$60 per hour for effects make-up (3 hour minimum) anywhere in the metro area of Kansas City. Travel fees may apply outside of the metro area. Additional makeup artists $30 per hour for each assistant (if required). + kit fee
2. Half Day Rate: (up to 5 hours max) $300 + kit fee
3. Day Rate:  (up to 12 hours max) $500 + kit fee

Kit Fee:

1. Basic / Glamour kit starts at $50 for basic makeup (a variety of make-up brands are used / makeup only type effects)
2. Gore / Trauma kit *basic* starts at $60 includes : base make-up, blood effects, trauma, gashes, cuts, bruises, wounds, minor 3 dimensional effects
3. Gore / Trauma kit *advanced* starts at $120 includes : base make-up, blood effects, trauma, gashes, cuts, bruises, wounds, advanced 3 dimensional effects, prosthetics
4. Zombie / Vampire kit *basic* starts at $80 includes : base make-up, blood effects, trauma, gashes, cuts, bruises, wounds, minor 3 dimensional effects, minor prosthetics
5. Zombie / Vampire kit *advanced* starts at $150 includes : base make-up, blood effects, trauma, gashes, cuts, bruises, wounds, detailed 3 dimensional effects, detailed prosthetics, teeth, contacts
6. Old Age kit *basic* starts at $60 includes : base make-up, minor aging effects utilizing liquid latex
7. Old Age kit *advanced* starts at $125 includes : base make-up, advanced aging effects utilizing liquid latex, prosthetics, contacts, bald caps, hair

Please note, not all kit fees are represented here! These are the most common and represent a rough guide to what kit prices average. Basic makeup without 3d effects or prosthetics cost less than the advanced techniques used when applying latex or gelatin prosthetics, bald cpas, contact lenses. If you’re unsure what your kit entails please contact Ella Bell and ask her. She will be able to provide you with an accurate price based on your needs. 

A 25% non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure a date and materials needed for your session.
